Caring for your feet can prevent pain and other foot problems. It’s easy to keep your feet healthy. Use these tips to keep your feet pain-free and fungus free,

The following are tips to help you care for your feet.

 •Keep your feet clean and dry. Healthy feet start with good hygiene.

 •Moisturize your feet daily with a good foot moisturizing cream. The best time would be immediately after wash.

 •Examine your feet for problems. Perform a foot self-exam once a week when you take a bath or shower to avoid infections such as fungus.

 •Avoid exposing your feet to harsh or unusual weather conditions such as dry cold weather or temperature. These conditions may cause problem for your feet.  •Wear the right socks for your feet preferably cotton socks.

 •Wear the correct shoes for your feet preferable leather shoes.

 •Cut or trim your toe nails and do so correctly as wrong trimming of the nails may lead to the growth of ingrown nails. The right way to cut your toenails is to cut straight across and use a nail file to trim the edges of your nail.

 •Cover your feet when out in public places especially when using public facilities to prevent you from getting infested by bacteria and funguses that may be lurking on the floor.
